    Oh Captain, My Captain

With just a few days until Christmas, the Beyond 90 podcast team discuss the week in football. Sadly COVID is still impacting the world, and while we see football sometimes as a relief from the challenges, for the players it must be remembered that they’re away from family, friends and in somewhat difficult circumstances.

History: Cheryl Salisbury, Matildas Cap 75

Salisbury debuted for the Matildas in 1994 and was capped 151 times. She captained the team for seven years, scoring 38 goals (as a defender) before retiring in 2009.
